This is a photo of what I awoke to early one morning while in the Rocky Mountains. King David spoke of how the sky above proclaimed His handiwork. That the sun comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber, and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy. From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised!

Wow!!
I know that it seems like a very primitive way of thinking to argue that something as complicated and beautiful as nature must have been created by a god, but really — the more we learn about nature, the better we appreciate its complexity and beauty. Thus I am surprised at how many people who, studying the physical sciences (especially biology) and understanding better than anyone the intricacies of nature, find it more plausible to believe in randomness than in a creator.
Ryan,
I think Augustine talks about the phenomenon that you refer to at the latter end of your comment, being due to their constriction to the physical realm in their studies and therefore unable or unwilling to believe those things that cannot be seen. But anyway; nice picture Bryan.
